Sharp MZ-80K Power Supply repair

Sono stati sostituiti 4 condensatori al tantalio in corto circuito con 4 condensatori elettrolitici. Il computer è stato testato e funziona perfettamente.

    Thanks for sharing the photos. I was wondering if you remember their values and which one fits where? The capacitors on my PSU blew up and am unable to determine their value.

    Thanks
    Mick

    Hello, I have a Sharp MZ80K also and have the same problem with the power supply.

    Having not used the computer for quite some time when I switched it on smoke started coming from the power supply so I switched it off straight away.

    Do you repair these power supply’s?

    Thanks Phil

    @Peter
    Fairly certain it will be the same problem as above. Mine had the same issue. Shorted tantalum capacitors.
    There are four of them, I would replace all four even if they are not all shorted.
