Sharp MZ-80K Power Supply repair

Have been replaced 4 tantalum capacitors short-circuited with 4 electrolytic capacitors. The computer has been tested and works perfectly.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I was wondering if you remember their values and which one fits where? The capacitors on my PSU blew up and am unable to determine their value.

    Thanks
    Mick

Hello, I have a Sharp MZ80K also and have the same problem with the power supply.

Having not used the computer for quite some time when I switched it on smoke started coming from the power supply so I switched it off straight away.

Do you repair these power supply’s?

    Thanks Phil
