Rilasciata la nuova versione del CBM prg Studio v3.11.0

E’ stata rilasciata una nuova versione del programma CBM prg Studio. Ci sono un sacco di nuove funzionalità e fix in questa versione e sono sempre gradite le segnalazioni di bug o suggerimenti/commenti.

CBM prg Studio e’ un kit di sviluppo che gira in ambiente Windows e vi permette di programmare in Commodore Basic e Linguaggio Macchina(LM), il programma potrà poi essere compilato in un file eseguibile “.PRG” per Commodore 64 / VIC-20 o PET.

La suite è anche completa di un ottimo sprite editor che permette di definire fino a 128 pattern, nonché di un funzionale char editor, che permette di avere una gestione completa e sotto controllo della procedura per la ridefinizione del charset interno al C64 e al Vic20.

Infine il CBM prg Studio, offre una completo e facile controllo della complessa gestione della tastiera del C64 e Vic20 ed in particolare dei caratteri PETSCII che contraddistinguevano le macchine sotto il marchio Commodore e che rappresentavano una chiave fondamentale per la programmazione in ambiente Basic, alla stregua di un vero e proprio macro linguaggio.

CBM prg Studio sostituisce le ormai obsolete Tools: C64PrgGen e VIC20PrgGen.

Bugs Fixed:

  • Assembler:
    • Having ‘*=’ in a comment causes an error
    • Macros weren’t appearing in the macro viewer
    • Multiple macro parameters in the same line were being ignored.
  • BASIC:
    • Incorrect line warning length for VIC20 projects.
  • Screen designer:
    • Crash when exporting C128 screens.
  • Sprite Editor:
    • Fail when importing from listing when the target line number was also in another part of the listing.
  • Character Editor:
    • Fail when importing from listing when the target line number was also in another part of the listing.

Note In this version, each target machine can have its own default project directory. If you are upgrading from a previous version (before version 2.5.1) of CBM prg Studio you may be asked to set up your project directories again. Your current projects will not be affected.

USB Stick STM32 (Gotek) HxC Floppy Emulator: Firmware v3.0.20.1a

Jean-François DEL NERO (la persona che sta dietro lo sviluppo del Floppy emulator HxC SD) ha recentemente rilasciato una versione del firmware HxC compatibile con il chip STM32 utilizzato nel Floppy Drive Gotek.

Questo significa che possiamo godere di quasi tutte le features che il firmware HxC supporta anche per l’economico Floppy Drive Gotek.

Il bootloader per convertire il floppy drive Gotek in HxC compatibile va acquistato sul sito di HXC 2001 inviando un’email a Jean-François DEL NERO. Il prezzo del bootloader e’ di 10 euro una tantum per ogni Gotek che si vuole aggiornare/convertire. Gli aggiornamenti successivi del software sono gratuti e possono essere fatti da chiavetta USB.

  • New Bootblock for the Amiga version : The file selector is now “trackloaded” and start faster.
  • Speed up the sub-directory change/browsing.
  • Can start an image from the slot page with the F7 key.
  • The File selector is now available under Windows and Linux ! : You can now edit the list from a PC !. (Compatible with all SD/USB HxC drives !) To launch it : HXCFEMNG -disk:[SD/USB drive letter:] See the selector readme file for more details. This is a new selection solution for all others machines without native file selector available.
  • Linux/Windows version : You can now import from txt file / export to txt file / auto populate / check / fix and clear your slots configuration. Very useful for fast populating and compilations duplication ;)
  • Windows version : Fix big size (>8GB) usb stick/sd access issue.
  • populateslots option : autoboot.hfe filtered.

Converter / HxC Software:

  • WIP : HFEv3 Import/export support added. This format support copy protections (variable bitrate protections and soon weakbits protections).

HXC STM32 (Gotek) & SD HxC new Amiga files selector v1.48a

Jean-François DEL NERO (la persona che sta dietro lo sviluppo del Floppy emulator HxC SD) ha rilasciato oggi via Facebook una nuova versione dell’Amiga Files Selector per HXC STM32 (Gotek) e SD HxC Floppy Emulator.

Il miglioramento principale di questa versione v1.48a è l’avvio del programma di gestione dei files che viene caricato molto più velocemente.

CBMXfer v1.00 (Front-End for CBM4Win/CBMLink/ZoomFloppy)

CBMXfer è una GUI o front-end per i programmi CBM4WIN/CBMLink che funzionano solo a riga di comando. Con un sistema a finestre elimina la necessità di imparare la sintassi di ogni programma.

The commandline utilities are:

  • OPENCBM – transfers files/images to/from a real CBM drive connected via an ‘X-cable’ on the parallel port.
  • CBMLINK – transfers files/images to/from a real CBM drive connected to a real CBM computer connected to the PC via a serial cable.
  • C1541 – a utility from VICE that works with CBM Image Files (ie: D64,D71,D81 files).

Relaunch64 V3.3.7 – C64/65xx cross-development IDE

Relaunch64 è un IDE (ambiente di sviluppo integrato) per scrivere software in assembler per Commodore 64 su ambienti Windows, Linux e Mac OS X. Relaunch64 ha un’interfaccia utente molto semplice e intuitiva.

Viene richiesto Java 7 o superiore per eseguire il programma Relaunch64. Il programma è stato rilasciato sotto la licenza GNU GPL 3 (o superiore) ed è gratuito per uso privato e professionale.

Hoxs64 v1.0.9.2. Nuovo aggiornamento per l’emulatore di C64

HxC Floppy Emulator: Software v2.1.6.0

L’interfaccia ‘HxC Floppy Drive Emulator‘ è un sistema hardware e software creato da jfdn aka Jeff.

L’obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di sostituire l’unità floppy disk con un dispositivo elettronico che emula il floppy drive (lista dell’hardware supportato).

Esistono due interfaccie di emulazione:

  • Una versione USB che permette di collegare l’interfaccia floppy disk drive del computer a un PC tramite un cavo USB.
  • Una versione SDCARD che permette di emulare i floppy disk tramite le immagini memorizzate su una SDCARD.

Disponibile il nuovo Firmware v1.4 per la cartuccia Sys-Check V2

Di seguito il post dell’autore scritto nel forum di Atariage.

A new firmware and flashtool is availible for Sys-Check V2 series.

The new flashtool now supports both Sys-Check PCBs equipped with a SST39SF010A flash chip (V2.1 and V2.2). When you start the flashtool, it will ask you which version you have. To be absolutely sure, the flashtool shows a simplified graphic view of both versions. I think, everybody can handle it :)

Of course the flashtool (and all other documents) are written in german and english.

Also there´s a new firmware V1.4 out. This firmware can be used with ALL Sys-Check versions – also with the old V2.0 (without flash). Owners of the V2.0 must burn the 16 KB firmware image into a 27128 EPROM. All other please use the flashtool to update their Sys-Check.

V1.4 has this minor changes:

  • Sys-Check can be used with the U1MB expansion.
  • The new version first checks the whole memory (to be more exact… the first 48 KByte) and then displays the defective bits (if there are any…)
  • When bad memory within the first 48 KB is found, the upper 16 KB will not be tested.
  • If memory is fine, OS-ROM will be tested as before.
  • If both tests are fine, then pressing START after this will set Sys-Check into endless loop test mode. Memory and OS-ROM are tested infinite – until any error occurs.
  • During memory tests the background will be coloured red if defective bits were detected.
