A new beta-version of 64Copy V4.46 is online, that has support for m2i-Files now. That`s really great news for SD2IEC-users that want to upgrade to the newest SD2IEC-firmware. Sadly the m2i-support was canceled and some people have big m2i-archives on their SD-Cards, which must be converted to p00 or d81 files. This can now be done in 64Copy.

Cool !!! Good to know, i also updated my SD2IEC some weeks ago and feared the big converting-work from m2i to p00. But with 64Copy, which had a nice GUI, this is much easier and goes faster.

Great news. Converting m2i-files with a program that has a GUI, is much more comfortable than using a DOS command-line tool. I just wonder, why the V4.46 version is still not downloadable from the official 64copy homepage? There still 4.45 is the last version.

Great news, especially for SD2IEC-users. In former times i used 64Copy alot to convert and copy between different file-types. In my opinion it`s the best tool for C64 file-formats. Will try 4.46 out.

This m2i-to-p00 conversion with 64copy really works perfect. Also a convertion from m2i-to-d81 is possible and work in 64copy v4.46b. I have converted all my m2i`s to p00 now, which needed some hours, and it`s good, that i can now update my SD2IEC to the newest firmware. Reason why i didn`t do that in last 2 years was the fact, that then all my m2i`s don`t work anymore. But now this problem is solved. A link to 64copy v4.46 should be posted on the http://www.sd2iec.de webside in my opinion, cause i think many people have problems with this strange commandline-tool, that is linked for using to convert the files there on the side. But in a GUI this is better to make, therefore 64copy rules.

Great tool. Knew 64Copy since longer time now, but i didn`t knew before, that it supports m2i format in 4.46 version. So these are good news definately. Downloaded the file and will try it in next days.

Thanks for this info. Great way to convert the files. It`s better to have a GUI like in 64Copy than doing all the work in an old command-line tool with all the typing-trouble. Best would have been, when all files in one stroke could be transformed, but i understand that this is not possible, because of files, which would have the same names then (00.p00, 01.p00, 02.p00 and so on). A tool which could convert the whole m2i-archiv in one stroke then must produce folders with different names before and only then start the converting job in every single folder. And also it must take the m2i-files, which should be converted, from different folders. So it`s more complicated than you think. Therefore i think, the solution here with 64Copy is the best one, even when also here the user must convert every single file. But at least everything can be done over the GUI and no typing is necessary. I needed around 3 hours to convert my whole m2i-archive into p00-files with 64Copy, but i had over 500 files to convert. :) Worked flawlessly and all of the new p00-files that i tested afterwards on my SD2IEC, worked without a problem.

Wow, this is cool. Transformed my whole m2i archiv in one hour with this. Better than doing it all with a commandline-tool with which the user must write alot.

Converted all my files with this tool now. Finally i can update the firmware of my SD2IEC and still all files will work then. Great!

This is a nice tool and easy to use. Great, cause i had fear that i must convert all my files individually with some commandline-tools. Here with this you can also not transform all files in one motion, but you have at least a GUI and you don’t need to type commandos. And the endresults all works on my SD2IEC, i tried alot of them in the meanwhile. Cool, thumbs up.
