This a special edition of the Commodore C64, celebrating the 1.000.000th sale of the C64 in Germany. This is one of the most desirable Commodore items. There are about 300 golden Commodore C64 produced. The numbers from 1.000.000 until 1.000.100 were for the staff of the Commodore factory Braunschweig.
The rest was given to hard- en software companies, magazine-publishers and distributors. The C64 is a computer system with a keyboard, external power-supply and a motherboard. On the motherboard you will find a MOS 6510 processor, RAM / ROM memory, MOS 6569 VIC-II video chip, MOS 6581 SID sound chip and twice a MOS 6526 CIA. PAL version.

DATASTORM, the ultimate winter party for people operating on machines with SOUL. It’s going down on the the 10:th of February 2012 and keeps going until the 12:th of February 2012.
Partylocation is as usual the city of Gothenburg at the swedish bestcoast – the stronghold of the swedish amigascene. The city is easy to reach through two international airports, ferry and train.

The web page Commodore128.org is organizing a Coding competition.
RULES:
- Entries must be original programs.
- Entries must NOT be larger than 4096 bytes (4kb)
- The result must be playable on a real 128 and VICE.
- The competition starts Saturday October 29th 2011 at 5pm EST (Australian, not US)
- Entries must be submitted on or before April 1st, 2012.
- Entries must only be for the 128′s 40 or 80 colum modes – CP/M & 64 modes will be ineligible.
- There will be a competion page at www.commodore128.org with the submissions & you’ll have the opportunity to vote for your favourite game (which will determine the winners).
- All entries must be released under GPL & with the source included.
SUBMISSIONS:
- Submissions must be made by email to landover (at) tpg.com.au
- Format of submissions to be in either D81, D64 or PRG format & then zipped.
PRIZES:
- 1st prize of $AU100
- 2nd prize of $AU50
- 3rd prize of $AU25
