After almost 18 years since the last time I had used this USB interface (eMPIA with EM2820 chipset) for acquisition of analog video signals i was curious to try if it still worked, especially due to a driver problem.
Well what can i say, it works perfectly with both video inputs Composite and S-Video, S-Video is the input that i’m using now with a Commodore 64.
Tested with Linux (Driver included in the Kernel) and with Windows 10 (Windows 8 drivers installed).
As a software i used Guvcview for Linux and VLC for Windows.

The High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC) is a freeware hobby project which organises Commodore 64 music (also known as SID music) into an archive for both musicians and fans alike.
The work on the collection is done completely in the Team and contributors’ spare time and is proudly one of the largest and most accurate computer music collections known.
This update features (all approximates):
- 920 new SIDs
- 45 fixed/better rips
- 9 repeats/bad rips eliminated
- 211 SID credit fixes
- 32 SID model/clock infos
- 3 tunes from /DEMOS/UNKNOWN/ identified
- 1 tunes from /GAMES/ identified
- 21 tunes moved out of /DEMOS/ to their composers’ directories
- 5 tunes moved out of /GAMES/ to their composers’ directories
After this update, the collection should contain 57,576 SID files!
