Il Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer, anche noto come Tandy Color Computer o CoCo, è un home computer prodotto dalla Tandy Corporation e commercializzato dal 1980 al 1991.
Nonostante il nome indichi una stretta parentela con la famiglia Radio Shack TRS-80, il CoCo in realtà è molto differente a livello hardware, a partire dal processore utilizzato, un Motorola 6809 al posto di uno Zilog Z80.
Il processore, per l’epoca molto potente, era anche molto costoso: per questo i sistemi concorrenti come il Commodore 64 e l’Atari 400 si affidavano ad una coppia di MOS 6502 che li rendeva economicamente più appetibili.

I had one thes computers TRS-80, in Brazil CP-400 color II (Prologica brand). At that time I wrote programs in Basic. Yes, I had time to do it … Good times!

The big difference of the CP-400 is the Video Composite/Svhs output which is missing totally in the TRS-80 version.
HI! I am wondering if you could help me. I have a 1981 COCO but can’t connect to my tv. I’ve bought the RF lead needed but nothing working so far. The computer does turn on though.
