Il SID Hybrid è un SID Player portatile con schermo LCD OLED e un connettore USB per chiavette.

Con questa interfaccia e’ possibile ascoltare tutti i chiptunes per Commodore 64. Probabilmente la più grande collezione di brani musicali SID è l’High Voltage SID Collection, che ha 36.000 brani SID, scaricabili gratuitamente.

Questo prototipo utilizza il chip SID originale (6581/8580) per riprodurre la musica e un Development Kit CUI32 PIC32MX per l’emulazione della CPU (6510).

E’ stato rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento firmware v2.1 per l’interfaccia 1541 Ultimate II di Gideon. Questa versione del firmware funziona Solo con l’interfaccia Ultimate 1541 II. La versione del Firmware per l’interfaccia Ultimate-I verra’ rilasciata nei prossimi giorni.

• MAJOR bug fix: Updater caused to unit to fail when “Force update” was selected on the first batch Black boards (with Atmel Flash)…
• Updater updated: Now possible to clear all configuration pages in flash.
• Issue fixed with configuration of objects that did not have a config page yet (write/effectuate decoupled).
• Issue fixed with re-freezing into an empty D64 (or file with headers but no items); caused a blank screen.
• Version number of FPGA increased [to $A6], because REU was fixed. (See previous commit).
• Simulation environment set up for REU.
• REU verify bug fixed. More testcases to be added.
• …/target/simulation/sim/$ make reu_tc_1.gui will start ModelSim with the REU testcase.
• Missing simulation package added.
• SdCard cannot be renamed, of course… fixed…
• Build of MK1 firmware fixed, using the 250E FPGA.

Ho trovato nella spazzatura un Commodore 64 / 1541 Floppy Drive ed un registratore a cassette per Commodore 16.

Il Floppy Drive era molto sporco ma funzionante, mentre il Commodore 64 era difettoso (schermo nero con leggere scansioni raster). Ho sostituito il chip video (MOS 6569) ed è tornato a funzionare meglio che prima ;-D

Questo programma che gira in ambiente M$ Windows converte le immagini in un nuovo formato grafico per commodore 64, noto come MUCSU FLI (MUltiColor Sprite Underlay FLI).

Turgen SYSTEM è un programma il cui obiettivo principale è la conversione di file binari Atari (Turbo) utilizzati sopratutto nella ex Cecoslovacchia e Polonia.

Il programma converte i files in formato XEX in formato WAVE per poi essere trasferiti su cassetta.

Con ASAP Music Player si torna indietro di 20 anni, dato che si possono ascoltare le musiche dell’Atari 8-bit su Windows / Mobile (Android)  /Linux. ASAP emula in modo perfetto il chip audio POKEY e il processore 6502.

Il progetto era inizialmente basato sulle routine utilizzate dall’emulatore Atari800, ma la versione attuale ha un core di emulazione completamente nuovo.

L’interfaccia ‘HxC Floppy Drive Emulator‘ è un sistema hardware e software creato da jfdn aka Jeff.

L’obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di sostituire l’unità floppy disk con un dispositivo elettronico che emula il floppy drive (lista dell’hardware supportato).

Esistono due interfaccie di emulazione:

• Una versione USB che permette di collegare l’interfaccia floppy disk drive del computer a un PC tramite un cavo USB.
• Una versione SDCARD che permette di emulare i floppy disk tramite le immagini memorizzate su una SDCARD.

Infiltrator Disassembler è un software M$ Windows per decompilare i programmi del Commodore 64.

Un disassemblatore o disassembler è un programma che traduce dal linguaggio macchina al linguaggio assembly. Esso effettua quindi l’operazione inversa di un assembler.

Comunque, l’output di un disassembler (detto disassemblato, o disassembly) è spesso fatto in modo da poter essere facilmente compreso dall’uomo piuttosto che per essere utilizzato come input per un assembler. Similmente, un decompilatore traduce il linguaggio macchina in un linguaggio ad alto livello.
