    About the KCS Cartridge, i have a similar cartridge, perhaps it is the same one. With mine it seems the autoboot is defective, it just says 30719 BASIC BYTES FREE. You can force the cartridge start by entering SYS 8*4096 and then pressing the enter key. It will bootup the cartridge.

    Pressing RESTORE will then bring you back to the boot-screen.

    Perhaps it works with yours too.
