Questo adattatore sostituisce tutti i banchi di ram installati nel PET 2001 con una Static Ram 6264 e torna utile nel caso che una o piu’ ram siano guaste. Queste ram non sono piu’ disponibili per l’acquisto.

Questo adattatore funziona solo per sostituire le ram MPS 6550 del Commodore PET 2001 (prima serie) e non funziona con altri computer della serie Commodore che utilizzano altre ram (es: 2114/4116).

Il progetto originale è stato fatto da Donni del forum VCF (Vintage Computer Forums).

Sfortunatamente tutti questi stampati hanno un problema di progettazione, qui di seguito il fix da fare. (mi sono sempre scordato di pubblicare questa foto)

    I have a PET 2001-N8 , will this replace all the RAM, and where can I buy one.
    Do you have a sugestion for replacing the video RAM as well ?

    Questi stampati non sono mai stati in vendita perche’ hanno un problema di progettazione e non sono state fatte nuove ristampe.

    Ci sono diverse soluzioni in rete per sopperire al problema delle RAM 6550.
