Pulizia e Riparazione di un Commodore PET 2001-8C

Sono passati Due mesi da quando ho ricevuto il mio Commodore PET 2001-8 Chicklet scambiato per uno Sharp MZ-80k, era il giorno 28/08/2013.
La scheda madre era in condizioni disastrose, ci sono voluti due mesi e molta pazienza per rimetterlo in funzione.
Guasti riscontrati:
- Caratteri confusi al boot.
- Problemi con il motore del Registratore a Cassette (Datassette)
Componenti sostituiti e riparazioni varie:
Un numero non ben preciso di Corto Circuiti visibili e non visibili (sotto gli zoccoletti)
- 2 x 6540 ROM Basic 1.0
- 2 x 74LS00
- 3 x 74LS157
- 1 x 7805
- 2 x Condensatore Elettrolitico/Tantalio.
- 1 x Motore Registratore
- 16 x 2114 RAM
Mi voglio soffermare sulle ram. Ho notato che il PET 2001-8 non digerisce bene tutte le ram.
Queste da me provate non funzionano correttamente:
- TESLA 2114 (2/8)
- MM2214N
- SY2114-2
- HKE2114L-2
Ho dovuto acquistare diversi stock di ram 2114 per trovare la ram che funzionava correttamente. Le ram che funzionano bene sono le ELCAP 2114L-3.
Devo ringraziare Andrea Pierdomenico per i test delle ROM effettuati sul suo PET 2001-8 e Alessandro Polito per lo scambio.
What did you use for a tape motor replacement?

HI, i have used a Commodore Tape Recorder with mechanical problem but with a good motor (used for spare parts) see the photo for the model (the white one)

how it works this adapter? I saw that has some pad “A15/A14/A13″…but they must be used?
From what I understand they are useless … they just look like test points
I mean that if I mount a 27C512 on this adapter I have to mount all five resistors and then load the 2KB file in the first memory allocation of the Eprom? Should I replace H5 ..
