CBM prg Studio e’ un kit di sviluppo che gira in ambiente Windows e vi permette di programmare in Commodore Basic e Linguaggio Macchina (LM), il programma potrà poi essere compilato in un file eseguibile “.PRG” per Commodore 64 o VIC-20.

La suite è anche completa di un ottimo sprite editor che permette di definire fino a 128 pattern, nonché di un funzionale char editor, che permette di avere una gestione completa e sotto controllo della procedura per la ridefinizione del charset interno al C64 e al Vic20.

Infine il CBM prg Studio, offre una completo e facile controllo della complessa gestione della tastiera del C64 e Vic20 ed in particolare dei caratteri PETSCII che contraddistinguevano le macchine sotto il marchio Commodore e che rappresentavano una chiave fondamentale per la programmazione in ambiente Basic, alla stregua di un vero e proprio macro linguaggio.

CBM prg Studio sostituisce le ormai obsolete Tools: C64PrgGen e VIC20PrgGen.

Con ASAP Music Player si torna indietro di 20 anni, dato che si possono ascoltare le musiche dell’Atari 8-bit su Windows / Mobile (Android) /Linux. ASAP emula in modo perfetto il chip audio POKEY e il processore 6502.

Il progetto era inizialmente basato sulle routine utilizzate dall’emulatore Atari800, ma la versione attuale ha un core di emulazione completamente nuovo.

VirtualC64 e’ un’emulatore di Commodore 64 per Intel Macintosh OSx > 10.6.

Questo software e’ stato scritto con due principali obiettivi; Il primo il programmatore ha voluto creare un emulatore che può essere utilizzato come programma dimostrativo durante il proprio anno di ingegneria informatica, il secondo e’ che l’emulatore e’ stato scritto il piu’ user-friendly possibile.

Tomasz “Tebe” Biela ha rilasciato un’aggiornamento del programma Graph2Font che arriva alla versione v3.9.2.9.

ACID 64 Player Pro e’ l’evoluzione del Player Acid 64.

L’ACID 64 Player Pro e’ un lettore di Brani Musicali SID del Commodore 64 ed e’ stato progettato per funzionare con le schede HardSID 4U (USB) che hanno un vero e proprio chip SID (6581/6582/8580) a bordo.

L’ACID 64 Player Pro emula il Micro Processore MOS 6510, il chip CIA 6526 e in parte il VIC 6569.

Il C64 Studio scritto da Georg Rottensteiner è un Macro Assembler per il Commodore 64.

Questo kit di sviluppo e’ basato sull’assemblatore Acme e gira in ambiente M$ Windows, se unito assieme all’emulatore di Commodore 64 “VICE” puo’ diventare un potente strumento per debuggare i programmi scritti/compilati in linguaggio macchina.

Audiotap è un programma per M$ Windows per la conversione delle cassette del Commodore 64 in formato TAP. Audiotap è in grado di leggere e scrivere i file in formato WAV, può anche registrare e riprodurre l’audio proveniente dalla scheda audio del proprio pc.

Il programma Regenerator è un disassemblatore per i file binari del Commodore 64. Regenerator puo’ disassemblare i file in formato PRG C64 oppure i file snapshot generati dal VICE (Emulatore Commodore 64).

Il disassemblatore gira sotto M$ Windows e’ richiede .NET Framework 3.5 o superiori per funzionare.

New in version 1.2 (compared to 1.0):

• You can turn Auto-Merge of Text/Data blocks that touch each other on/off.
• You can Manually Merge Text/Data blocks that touch each other.
• You can set any true type font as the display font now.
• There is a new default font used for display (hopefully better and more readable)

E’ stata rilasciata una nuova versione del programma YAPE. YAPE è un emulatore di Commodore Plus/4 che gira sotto ambiente Windows.

Le novita’ di questa versione sono:
