La “High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC)” è un collezione che raccoglie migliaia di brani musicali del Commodore 64 (noti anche come brani SID).

Questa collezione e’ completamente gratuita ed e’ opera di un Team di persone che negli anni ha lavorato per rendere la migliore raccolta di SID tunes.

This update features (all approximates):

• 749 new SIDs
• 1479 fixed/better rips
• 1 repeats/bad rips eliminated
• 727 SID credit fixes
• 323 SID model/clock infos
• 19 tunes from /DEMOS/UNKNOWN/ identified
• 4 tunes from /GAMES/ identified
• 45 tunes moved out of /DEMOS/ to their composers’ directories
• 5 tunes moved out of /GAMES/ to their composers’ directories

Con ASAP Music Player si torna indietro di 20 anni, dato che si possono ascoltare le musiche dell’Atari 8-bit su Windows / Mobile (Android) /Linux. ASAP emula in modo perfetto il chip audio POKEY e il processore 6502.

Il progetto era inizialmente basato sulle routine utilizzate dall’emulatore Atari800, ma la versione attuale ha un core di emulazione completamente nuovo.

Changelog ASAP 3.2.0 (2014-06-23):

• Reduced amplitude by half to avoid clipping on loud tunes.
• Silence detection regarded GTIA and COVOX sounds as silence.
• asapconv supports conversion to one WAV/RAW/MP3/XEX file per subsong.
• File Information window in the foobar2000 plugin.
• Updated the XBMC plugin for the new XBMC.
• OS X VLC plugin no longer requires OS X 10.8.

Android changes:

• Android 4.4 can now read the memory card.
• Switch to the next song when the current one ends.
• Playback couldn’t be resumed after a while of pause.
• Search files using on-screen keyboard.
• Removed HTTP playback.
• Files with duplicate titles were lost in the details view.

Unboxing R&D Automation CFFA3000:

Interfaccia CompactFlash / USB flash drive per i computer Apple II/III

Caratteristiche tecniche:

• Support 1 to 13 partitions under ProDOS and GS/OS, and 2 virtual floppy drives
• Virtual Floppy image support allows the use of almost any non-copy-protected floppy disk image, including .dsk, .2mg, and .nib files. Note: .nib files of protected floppies will not work with the CFFA3000
• Allows storage of thousands of floppy and smartport disk images
• User configurable partition count
• Boot from either device and any partition
• Allow booting from Dos3.3, Pascal, CPM, Contiki, ProDOS or GS/OS directly from the Interface card (for a floppy-less system)
• Configurable as a CFFA smart port controller (i.e. a mass storage device) or as a floppy controller, or both. When configured as both, requires 2 slots in your Apple II, one for the physical card, and one for the virtual floppy controller.
• Hardware supports DMA, although v1.0 software does not currently support DMA. Future support is planned, but not guaranteed.

Apple IIgs tramite l’interfaccia GBS 8200 v4:

Apple IIgs connesso ad un monitor VGA utilizzando l’interfaccia GBS 8200 v4 (display scalar board).

Il cavo Video che ho fatto prende l’alimentazione per l’interfaccia GBS 8200 dal connettore Video dell’Apple IIgs, questo risulta molto comodo ed evita un’ennesimo alimentatore.

Il Cambridge Computer Z88 è un coputer portatile basato su Z80 con pre-installati diversi software, tra cui; word  un foglio di calcolo e database chiamato “PipeDream” insieme ad altre  diverse altre applicazioni e utility come ad esempio un BASIC ereditato dal BBC ma in versione Z80.
