E’ stato rilasciato un nuovo firmware per l’interfaccia C64SD Infinity + ITS di Manosoft
Changelog:
- Implementata funzionalita’ che permette di registrare un riferimento (indipendente per ciascun file .TAP) relativo alla posizione attuale del nastro premendo il tasto rosso sul retro della scheda durante l’utilizzo di un file .TAP. L’utente puo’ poi impostare il puntatore di lettura sul file .TAP alla posizione precedentemente salvata semplicemente premendo
il tasto “Next” della scheda. Questa funzionalita’ puo’ essere utilizzata durante il caricamento dei files .TAP contenenti piu’ programmi (Multi load .TAP) o con i giochi che richiedono di resettare il contatore sul registratore e, successivamente, di riavvolgere il nastro fino a quel punto specifico.

La “High Voltage SID Collection (HVSC)” è un collezione che raccoglie migliaia di brani musicali del Commodore 64 (noti anche come brani SID).
Questa collezione e’ completamente gratuita ed e’ opera di un Team di persone che negli anni ha lavorato per rendere la migliore raccolta di SID tunes.

Con ASAP Music Player si torna indietro di 20 anni, dato che si possono ascoltare le musiche dell’Atari 8-bit su Windows / Mobile (Android) /Linux. ASAP emula in modo perfetto il chip audio POKEY e il processore 6502.
Il progetto era inizialmente basato sulle routine utilizzate dall’emulatore Atari800, ma la versione attuale ha un core di emulazione completamente nuovo.
Changelog ASAP 3.2.0 (2014-06-23):
- Reduced amplitude by half to avoid clipping on loud tunes.
- Silence detection regarded GTIA and COVOX sounds as silence.
- asapconv supports conversion to one WAV/RAW/MP3/XEX file per subsong.
- File Information window in the foobar2000 plugin.
- Updated the XBMC plugin for the new XBMC.
- OS X VLC plugin no longer requires OS X 10.8.
Android changes:
- Android 4.4 can now read the memory card.
- Switch to the next song when the current one ends.
- Playback couldn’t be resumed after a while of pause.
- Search files using on-screen keyboard.
- Removed HTTP playback.
- Files with duplicate titles were lost in the details view.

L’interfaccia ‘HxC Floppy Drive Emulator‘ è un sistema hardware e software creato da jfdn aka Jeff.
L’obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di sostituire l’unità floppy disk con un dispositivo elettronico che emula il floppy drive (lista dell’hardware supportato).
Esistono due interfaccie di emulazione:
- Una versione USB che permette di collegare l’interfaccia floppy disk drive del computer a un PC tramite un cavo USB.
- Una versione SDCARD che permette di emulare i floppy disk tramite le immagini memorizzate su una SDCARD.
Release notes for the HxCFloppyEmulator software v2.0.22.0:
- GUI – Track viewer window : New viewer mode -> Disk surface view mode.
- Raw loader : UKNC Russian computer support added.
- New Writer : BMP file (Disk/circular layout) -> Disk layout can now be exported into a BMP file (for disk analysis) !
- libhxcfe : Correction of the UTF8 path support in some loaders/writers.
- New Loader : SPS CT Raw file format support added. (NOTE : No flakey bits support for the moment !)
