L’interfaccia ‘HxC Floppy Drive Emulator‘ è un sistema hardware e software creato da jfdn aka Jeff.

L’obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di sostituire l’unità floppy disk con un dispositivo elettronico che emula il floppy drive (lista dell’hardware supportato).

Esistono due interfaccie di emulazione:

• Una versione USB che permette di collegare l’interfaccia floppy disk drive del computer a un PC tramite un cavo USB.
• Una versione SDCARD che permette di emulare i floppy disk tramite le immagini memorizzate su una SDCARD.

Questo alimentatore non ha le viti per poterlo aprire, bisogna tagliarlo a meta’ con il dremel per poterlo aprire e riparare.

Difetto:

• Mancano i +5v

Componenti sostituiti:

• 1 x IC CA723CE (Precision Voltage Regulators)

Analisi del guasto:

• Testato che il cavo non fosse interrotto.
• Testato il transistor TIP41C saldato sul PCB.
• Dissaldato il transistor TIP41C e riprovato per avere la certezza 100% che non fosse morto, il transistor non era in corto o interrotto.
• Con il transistor TIP41C dissaldato ho provato l’uscita dell’integrato CA723CE PIN 10 VOUT , che risultava a 0v al posto di +5v mentre l’ingresso non regolato PIN 12 misurava +17v e il VREF PIN 6 era corretto.

Questa collezione e’ completamente gratuita ed e’ opera di un Team di persone che negli anni ha lavorato per rendere la migliore raccolta di SID tunes.

Note:

Ho utilizzato per la prima volta il DIAG264 (versione Kernel, esiste anche una versione cartridge) e devo dire che funziona bene.
